Tajima Lenses by Talex is the only lens manufacturer in the world to specialize exclusively in polarized lenses, and the only company to make our own polarizing filters. We have found it is the only way to eliminate distortion typically found in polarized lenses, while maintaining the highest Japanese standards of precision and quality.
Making and working with a polarizing filter that is only 0.03 mm-thin requires delicate techniques that can only come from decades of earned, hands-on experience. This experience and attention to detail is critical to producing the best polarized lenses that perform many tasks well – blocking harmful UV rays, having excellent resolving power, and filtering out “noisy light” while being gentle on the eyes and removing all distortion.
